About Me
Christy Everson’s relationship to Seeds of Health formed with a family connection, and continues through her role as a 3rd grade teacher at Seeds of Health Elementary. Her younger siblings all attended the elementary program in its previous location, and her mother served as a food service coordinator in the elementary program. Christy followed in her mother’s footsteps and became a volunteer, which introduced her to the Seeds of Health community, students, and staff, many of whom served as mentors for her as she began pursuing her career in education.
Her teaching career began at Seeds of Health in 2005 with a role as a second grade teacher. The next year, Christy transitioned into her position as the third grade teacher, a role which she has now held for nineteen years.
Christy holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.
She is a proud collector of all things Stitch and eagerly spreads her love of him to all students past, present, and future.
“The relationships I have with my colleagues and the connections I build with my students are what keeps me motivated and loving Seeds of Health!”
