Our Mission

Seeds of Health K4-8 Elementary is a public, tuition-free charter school authorized through the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and proudly part of the Seeds Schools network. Established in 1996, Seeds of Health Elementary has decades of experience educating students in a safe and supportive small-school environment, providing well-rounded instruction grounded in rigorous curriculum and high expectations. Our mission is to work in partnership with families and the community to prepare students with foundational knowledge, skills, and character that will support success in secondary and post-secondary education and adult life. 

Seeds of Health Elementary offers a comprehensive K4-8th grade school experience, including:

 

A variety of clubs and activities, such as Girls on the Run, Tae Kwon Do, and 7th/8th grade athletics 

 

Onsite mental health services through Seeds Schools’ partnership with Jewish Family Services

 

Social emotional learning support through programs like Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Milwaukee’s MentorYOU for 2nd-5th graders

 

An afterschool program operated in partnership with Right At School

 

Enriching experiences made possible through strong community partnerships with organizations like JCC’s Rainbow Day Camp, Urban Ecology, and many more

 

A focus on digital citizenship that strengthens students’ technology skills, digital literacy, cyber security, and healthy technology use

 

An active and involved PTO 

 

Families can begin and complete their child’s K-12 education within the Seeds Schools network. Seeds of Health Elementary students have the option to transition to one of Seeds of Health’s outstanding high schools after 8th grade.
