About Me

Mary Jane Golden’s career at Seeds of Health began with a field trip to a pumpkin farm. She worked at a temp agency before joining Seeds of Health, and one day in 2005, after the abrupt departure of SOHE’s K4 teacher, was asked to step in as a substitute for the class’s field trip. She happily filled the role, and, that same day, she interviewed for the full-time K4 position. She began her official role with Seeds of Health the very next day. Now, she has over twenty years of teaching experience at Seeds of Health and works as the school’s first grade teacher. Mary Jane was Seeds of Health’s first hire through a temp agency.

Mary Jane has always been committed to supporting the development of young students. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education, and, before working at the temp agency, began her professional career working in daycare centers.

Outside of the classroom and field trips, Mary Jane enjoys gardening, cooking, and sewing.
