School Closings
In the event of inclement weather, the school will be closed when Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) are closed. In addition, there may be times when Seeds of Health Elementary School is closed due to unforeseen circumstances and MPS is open.
Notifications will be made to families by:
- ParentSquare - an automated phone call, text message and/or email to parents and guardians about school-related safety, weather-related closings, reminders and absences. Please make sure your contact information is up to date in Skyward to ensure that you receive important messages.
- Posted on the school website
- Posted to local television channels
No announcement means that school is open.
Parent Involvement
The Seeds of Health Elementary PTO is comprised of parent representatives, teachers and the principal. The PTO meets several times a year to discuss school issues and plan special school events. If you are interested in learning more about the council and volunteering as a member, please contact the school office.
